Key objective
The awards processes within the business were very manual and prone to entries being lost. The primary objective was to provide a hub where all information would be stored, acting as the single point of truth.
Features
The website (built in Drupal 9) was designed to operate as a self-service platform, allowing users to register, download, and submit entry forms.
Features included:
- Form handling: allowing users to select categories which they had an interest in entering – store what they selected and provide them with a download link for the forms
- Submission handling: allow users to upload their entry forms and other supporting documents
- In-house (staff) admin views to show which events were being entered
- In-house (staff) notifications when forms were downloaded so people could reach out and ask if people needed anything to help
